Allergies in Spring

Spring is here! Pollen from trees, grass, and other plants is in the air and can increase when it rains, as can mould spores.

Just like people, pets can have allergies that are worse at certain times of the year. The most common signs of allergy are constant scratching and licking as well as frequent skin and ear infections.

If you suspect your pet has allergies, talk to your veterinarian about options available to either treat, with allergy testing and desensitisation, or manage the problem using some of the very effective, modern

medications, fatty acid supplements and shampoos and conditioners.

Call the clinic on 544 552 88 for more information or to book an appointment.
